The Beginning: E.
J. Campbell
E. J. Campbell served in the U.S. Army
for three years in Berlin, Germany just after the Allied Victory.
Like many young men after service, E. J.
went to college. He moved West from his hometown of East St.
Louis, Illinois, to attend the University of California, Los Angeles.
While at UCLA, E. J. completed the Air Force ROTC program and was
commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant upon graduation.
After graduating from
UCLA's School of Business, E. J. attended a real estate school and
obtained a California real estate license in 1955. After
successfully selling homes for two years, E. J. qualified for a real
estate broker license and opened E. J. Campbell & Company Realtors
in Anaheim, California in 1957.
E. J.
was a
graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and was a Certified
Property Manager (CPM) for over 20 years. E. J. taught real
estate courses in Orange County community colleges for many years while
working full-time in the real estate industry. For over
60 years he worked in the real estate industry; listing, selling, developing, and managing property.
In the early 1980s, E.
J. began training his two sons, Doug and Scot, to carry on
the family real estate business. E. J. never fully retired and
continued to be available to old clients and his sons until he passed in 2016
at the age of 89.
Our Expansion: Vicki
J. Campbell
Vicki Campbell
has been a real estate broker and estate planning attorney in
California for over 30 years. Vicki has developed a loyal
following amongst her clientele and obtained an Arizona real estate
broker license to help her clients diversify their real estate
portfolios outside California.
For four years, Vicki owned
and along with her son Doug managed
the Anthem Arizona real estate office of Campbell & Associates.
She is now semi-retired, but continues to provide estate planning
services to her existing clientele, while referring real estate
services to either Doug or Scot depending on her client needs.
Vicki continues to be available
to her sons and has mentored them in real estate
law and ethics.
Today in Arizona: Doug Campbell
Doug Campbell began managing,
leasing, and
later selling real estate under the direction of his father after
graduating high school in 1983. Over the years Doug has
attained the following real estate designations and certifications:
Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS),
Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Resort & Second-home
Property Specialist (RSPS), Short Sale & Foreclosure
Resource (SFR), and Seniors Real Estate
Specialist (SRES).
Doug has always been
interested in technology, he started working with personal computers (IBM PCs) almost since their inception
and started integrating them into the family business in the early
1980s. As a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer he
expanded the use of networked computers in the real estate business,
including the Internet. In 1995, Doug established Real Estate Online, Inc. to
provide technical consulting, teaching, and development services. The company was a Microsoft Certified Partner
for four years. He remains technical savvy, but no longer
consults or teaches outside the family business.
In 2004, Doug
returned full-time as a Realtor specializing in helping Californians
buy property in Arizona. He then expanded his service to
include Arizonians buying or selling property in the Phoenix Valley.
From 2008 until the beginning of 2017, Doug Campbell was the owner and Designated Broker of Campbell & Associates
in Anthem, Arizona.
In early 2017, Doug Campbell
became a Broker Associate of Realty ONE Group with multiple offices
throughout the Valley. This change allows Doug more time to
spend with clients by removing administrative tasks.
Doug is still a licensed
real estate agent in California. His license "hangs" in his
brother's ocean view office in downtown Huntington Beach, California.
Today in California: Scot Campbell
Scot
Campbell has been actively working in the family business since he
graduated high school in 1984. Scot has been a California real estate
broker and owner of Campbell Realtors in downtown Huntington Beach
since 1996.

Highway (PCH). Scot and his team of
dedicated professionals at now Coldwell Bankers - Campbell Realtors serve the local clientele as well as the
frequent visitors (including Arizonians) that decide to make
Huntington Beach and the surrounding beach communities their vacation
home or
